The Make Breast Cancer History Gala Evening 2009 held on October 10th, was an outstanding success!
This year, the gala evening raised and incredible $102,000!! All of which will go to the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) and the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to help with support and research and to Make Breast Cancer History!
The MBCH committee are amazed and humbled by the response and would like to thank all our sponsors, guests and friends – without all of you, the night could not have been what it was – truly entertaining, fun and memorable! We look forward to seeing you next time!

Entertainment
- Guests were wowed with 100% Kylie who kicked off the evening with, “On a night like this!”
- Whilst the ladies were wooed with Australia’s own Il Dilvo show, Figaro.
Naomi adds a touch of glamour
- The Make Breast Cancer History MC, Naomi Robson welcomed the guests and kept the evening rolling!
Gala Girls
- Guests were well looked after with the gorgeous Gala Girl hostesses adding much style to the evening.
Live Auction
- The high spirited bidding at the live auction was entertainment in itself! From the ride with Tour de France stage winner Simon Gerrans going for $4,700, to Sleeping with Peter Alexander for a Year, fetching an amazing $2,100! Peter promises he doesn’t “shrink in the wash”!
